This September, AVEVA and Robert Gordon University (RGU) will present the findings of a report that investigates the health and safety standards of the oil and gas industry.

All of the discoveries from the research will be debated during a panel discussion in Aberdeen on September 1st. The report may lead to companies altering how they apply safety signage.

The panel discussion will include Jeremy Cresswell, editor of the Press and Journal's ENERGY supplement as well as other key figures in the industry.

Steve Tongish, vice-president of marketing at AVEVA, said: "Some of the early findings from the report have challenged our preconceptions. The qualitative analysis will help us to delve deeper and better assess the final conclusions."

In recent weeks, The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors released new guidance for property specialists.

The group's Surveying Safely recommendations concern the ethical, moral and practical issues encountered by experts in the industry. ADNFCR-2754-ID-800608409-ADNFCR
