The closing date for Kimberly-Clark Professional's Make A Difference health and safety award scheme has been set for June 24th, when companies with effective safety signage could be in the running for honours.

It is being backed by the British Safety Council and will commence for the first time this year, where the success of health and safety experts within manufacturing industries in the UK, Germany, France and the Czech Republic will be recognised.

Emma Wrafter, senior communications manager at the British Safety Council, said: "This award scheme is a great way to publicise the measures you and your organisation have put in place to protect the health and safety of your workforce and, should you win, to celebrate your success."

An article in the Star has revealed that St Leger Homes has been given the highest possible rating from the British Safety Council.ADNFCR-2754-ID-800563221-ADNFCR
