Confused.com develops road safety sign

Confused.com has developed a new pothole warning sign for the roads, after liaising with national industry experts.

It is now campaigning for the sign to be installed across the nation's roads and is asking road users across the country to sign a petition before it is delivered to the Department of Transport.

The website decided to take action against the dangers of potholes after it conducted a survey which discovered that 90 per cent of motorists do not feel suitably alerted to them.

In addition, several facts have been released by the site to boost road users' knowledge. For instance, its readers have learned that the average UK motorist faces ten potholes each day.

Confused.com's campaign follows the government's announcement that it is to conduct a nationwide review of traffic signs.

It is hoped that the evaluation will lead to less clutter on the roads.ADNFCR-2754-ID-800761941-ADNFCR
