A man involved in a crash on a Stratford-upon-Avon road has called for improvements to be made after a recent collision in the area.

Emerson Welsh survived an incident on the Bidford to Honeybourne road when a vehicle travelling east to west on the Welford Road crashed into the side of his car. He told the Stratford-upon-Avon Herald that the area has a "horrible junction".

His comments come after a driver was killed following a collision on the road on December 22nd, further highlighting its hazards.

"It’s a horrible junction. The signage and visibility, and coming up to the junction is bad. Blatantly something needs to be done and should have been done 20 years ago. During the evening the visibility is just not good enough," Mr Welsh told the news provider.

With the UK now in winter, treacherous conditions are likely in the coming weeks and motorists must exercise caution and regularly check forecasts to help ensure they travel safely.ADNFCR-2754-ID-801515943-ADNFCR
