Firms advised to prepare for RoSPA MORR Awards

Companies have been reminded that registration for the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents' (RoSPA) Management of Occupational Road Risk Awards will close on December 3rd.
The competition is open for all members of staff who drive to work and display excellence with regard to managing work related road safety, with judges searching for evidence of best practice in areas such as the training given out to motorists.
Kevin Clinton, RoSPA's head of road safety, said: "RoSPA is seeing more and more companies using telematics to monitor drivers, but what we particularly want to see is companies that don't just rely on driver training but are managing the safety and risks of drivers from the top down."
Tesco Dotcom has collected the MORR trophy for the last four years in succession.
This week, (November 13th), RoSPA held a seminar in a Birmingham where the group outlined the best ways for companies to present their submissions.
