Harman Technology collects safety award

Harman Technology has picked up a safety award from the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA).
It picked up the Order of Distinction Gold award after showing a commitment to accident and ill-health prevention, and is open to businesses of all types and sizes.
Peter Elton, the managing director at Harman Technology, said: “I am so pleased that our company has been recognised in this way for the 22nd consecutive year.
“It shows that our workforce, management and systems are committed on a consistent basis to HS&E. It is an excellent reflection on us all.”
The awards date back 57 years, making it the largest and longest running programme of its kind in the UK.
Gus Robinson Developments has also been recognised by RoSPA, picking up the gold award for the ninth year in a row.
Thanks to its continued the success, the company now qualifies to pick up the president’s award in 2014.
