The HAVmeter safety system has reached a new sales record, indicating that it could be chosen as an effective method of battling workplace injuries alongside safety signage.

It helps to prevent exposure to Hand Arm Vibration Syndrome (HAVS) and sales of the device have doubled during the past month, reaching their highest level in history as more companies look to reach their health and safety targets.

Jim O'Hagan, managing director of Reactec Ltd, which develops the HAVmeter system, said: "HAVS is still a huge problem for many industries throughout the country that rely on the use of power tools and vibrating equipment."

The disease can also leave workers in crippling pain for the rest of their lives, Mr O'Hagan warned.

Acre has highlighted that more health and safety specialists are now paying attention to sustainability.

The group believes that sustainability is frequently partnered with health and safety reporting.ADNFCR-2754-ID-800692304-ADNFCR
