IOSH launches partnership with HWL

The Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) in Scotland is holding a roadshow to launch a partnership with the Scottish Centre for Healthy Working Lives (HWL).

IOSH's role is to team with HWL to help employers develop a safer, healthier and more motivated workforce, with the event comprised of a combination of presentations and discussions.

IOSH vice-president Karen McDonnell said: "Partnership working is at the core of improving the standard of health safety and wellbeing in Scotland’s workplaces. With over 4000 members in Scotland IOSH continues to be a key influencer in making this happen."

Ms McDonnell explained that the seminars will help to establish connections throughout Scotland, helping to improve business performance in the process.

HWL occupational health and safety development manager Robert Atkinson also commented on the partnership, noting that finding out where to get help for the work is not always as easy as it sounds.ADNFCR-2754-ID-801646412-ADNFCR
