Kent road sign labelled a danger to drivers

A road sign in Kent has been labelled a danger to motorists in the area.

Speaking to the Folkestone Herald, one local resident has warned of green slime on the no-right-turn notice in Castle Hill Avenue, which stops drivers from turning into Kingsnorth Gardens.

Brian Lamb explained to the news provider: "It is not possible to see the sign through the algae in the dark. There are a number of signs in the area which could do with a bit of cleaning, but I think this one was the worst.

"It's difficult to read the road at the best of times. If you approached the crossroads and didn't know the sign was there, you would easily miss it."

It is important for drivers to be aware of the condition of warning signs, and contact their council if they believe any notices require attention due to damage or poor visibility.ADNFCR-2754-ID-801568404-ADNFCR
