Kier Sheffield has picked up its eighth successive gold award from the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA).

This accolade recognises the business’ continued commitment to health and safety while repairs and maintenance is completed throughout the city, with the partnership responsible for maintaining 42,000 council-owned properties and municipal buildings.

Phil Oades, Kier senior operations director, said: “We are delighted to have won our eighth consecutive gold award, recognising the commitment Kier Sheffield has made as a business to improving health and safety across the board.”

Mr Oades went on to say that the award is a “real credit” to the company’s operatives, who have consistently maintained a high standard of safety while repair work has been completed.

The RoSPA Awards scheme is the largest and longest running scheme of its kind in Britain, giving organisations an opportunity to showcase and share their ongoing commitment to health and safety.ADNFCR-2754-ID-801583709-ADNFCR
