Repairs and maintenance specialist Kier Stoke has received two industry awards that recognise its health and safety efforts.

The organisation has been honoured with a gold accolade in the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents' (RoSPA) Occupational Health and Safety Awards, while the British Safety Council has also praised its work with an International Safety Award.

Kier Stoke head of operations Richard Wall said: "We have a strong commitment to maintain the health, safety and well-being of employees and in our industry it is imperative to have strict health & safety policies in place."

Mr Wall underlined that the company was delighted to have collected the two awards, noting they are testament to the commitment of the firm's employees.

This news comes after 24Dash reported that Frank Haslam Milan has also won a RoSPA accolade.

The firm has been handed a gold medal, after it won eight consecutive gold awards following the introduction of its See It, Sort It, Report It project.ADNFCR-2754-ID-801371446-ADNFCR
