Lakesmere named Specialist Contractor of the Year at 2013 Building Awards

Lakesmere has been awarded the Specialist Contractor of the Year award at the 2013 Building Awards.
The company also won the honour in 2011, and the event aims to identify and celebrate the most innovative businesses in the sector, with GlassOnWeb.com reporting that Lakesmere came out on top of the competition from six other finalists.
Mo Morgan, Lakesmere’s group marketing and communications manager, said: “To have won the prestigious Specialist Contractor of the Year award twice in three years is an incredible achievement and I speak for everyone at Lakesmere when I say we could not be more delighted.”
Mr Morgan added that the business’ success illustrates the skills and expertise of its staff, along with the support provided from supply chain partners and clients.
Companies that collect safety awards could boost their reputation significantly, which could give them the upper-hand over rivals in the sector.
Consumers are more likely to rely on the services of organisations that have been accredited for their efforts to improve the wellbeing of staff.
