The LASER Alliance has announced that equipping children with safety skills will be the focus of its LASER Annual Conference next month.

LASER Hands On will be held at DangerPoint interactive education centre in Talacre, north Wales on Thursday February 21st, where the significance of high quality practical safety education will be discussed.

The LASER Alliance is hosted by the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA), is sponsored by the Gas Safety Trust, and brings together a selection of UK-based organisations.

Cassius Francis, LASER Alliance co-ordinator and RoSPA’s youth liaison worker, said: "The LASER Alliance Annual Conference is an opportunity for members and non-members to come together to share best practice on helping people learn how to make responsible decisions about safety and risk."

The Alliance benefits from a network of regional champions across the UK, who promote the ten principles of effective safety education and contribute to LASER Alliance's policymaking.ADNFCR-2754-ID-801523940-ADNFCR
