London road signs deemed confusing

Road signs in London have been described as Britain's "most confusing".
More than £5 million has been paid out by motorists caught out by nine traffic signs in Grafton Road, Kentish Town, with one driver citing that the warnings can be perceived to mean the opposite of what they stand for.
Tim Cole, who lodged the appeal, said: "The decision by the adjudicator demonstrates without a doubt that the motorists are being trapped and the signs should be taken down and the money returned."
In response to the claims, Anthony Chan, an independent adjudicator for the Parking and Traffic Appeals Service, upheld the complaint, noting that the signage was "inadequately clear".
A road sign has also caused issues for residents in Benfleet, with homeowners telling the Echo that the structure's size is proving frustrating.
Robbie Robertson of Oak Walk told the news provider that the sign is a "monstrosity"
