Mattei Compressors picks up health and safety award

Mattei Compressors has picked up an accreditation from SAFEcontractor for the 12th year in succession.
The honour recognises competence and compliance in health and safety and is given to organisations that adhere to the best practice standards across the industry, reports Process and Control Today.
In order to receive the accreditation, six steps must be completed, including an auditing process where health and safety measures are analysed.
Andy Jones, general manager at Mattei, told the news provider: "Health and safety is such an important factor in every aspect of our work and that’s why we are so proud to be accredited for the 12th year running."
Mr Jones explained that the honour gives the organisation credibility with clients and customers, while boosting the confidence of workers.
Mattei is not the only company to have been honoured by SAFEcontractor recently, as H&V News reported that Sollatek UK has also picked up the status.
The company's director Maan Allos told the news provider that the accolade illustrates the organisation's devotion to maintaining excellence.
