Michael Jackson pictures appear on Hardwicke road signs

Michael Jackson's face has been spray painted onto a number of warning signs in Hardwicke.

Villagers have claimed that the drawings have been present for at least six months, with one local landlord suggesting to The Citizen that the graffiti appears tidy.

"I think some people will see it as mindless graffiti but they are not really doing any harm and it looks like someone has spray painted through a stencil, which means it is all quite neat and tidy," the landlord explained.

Hardwicke Parish Council chairman Ian Butler told the news provider that he is yet to see the signs, but believes that they will make him "chuckle".

Unusual signage has been seen in other areas of the country, with the Chester Chronicle recently reporting that signs in Ashton Hayes have been altered to include the name of Hollywood star Ashton Kutcher.

The move was a prank by Comedy Central in a bid to promote the show Two and a Half MenADNFCR-2754-ID-801420707-ADNFCR
