Homeowners in Midhurst have asked the South Downs National Park Authority for confirmation on what it deems as satisfactory safety signage.

The request follows disagreements over village gateway signs, with West Sussex County councillor Mark Dunn telling the Midhurst and Petworth Observer that communication was necessary in order for an agreed design to be finalised.

Mr Dunn told the news provider: "Speed control signage and carefully considered village gateway signs are not landscape clutter. They serve a very important purpose."

He commented that it should be pointed out that speed is a killer and a higher number of signs are required in the area in order to boost safety.

Grimsby Resin Floors was recently commended for its attitude to health and safety, with the Grimsby Telegraph revealing that the firm has been given SAFEcontractor status.

Chris Parker from the company stated that the firm's move to its current premises helped it to function more efficiently.ADNFCR-2754-ID-801290749-ADNFCR
