Miller Homes collects safety awards

Miller Homes has picked up two honours in the NHBC Health and Safety Awards.
East Midlands site manager Richard Goacher collected a “highly commended” award for his site at Dukesmead in Bingham, whereas Miller Homes picked up an accolade for Best Health and Safety Worker Engagement Programme.
The developer’s approach to making improvements in health and safety has focused on the engagement of contractors and the advantages of teamwork.
Dave Hickman, Safety, Health and Environmental Director for Miller Homes, said: “We are delighted to have been recognised again in the NHBC Health and Safety Awards, and these awards are testament to our on-going commitment to achieving health and safety excellence across all of our sites and operations.”
Mr Hickman emphasised that health and safety is “everyone’s responsibility”. adding that considerable amounts of money, time and effort are put into ensuring that the organisation’s culture is right.
