Miller UK and VP Piletic win safety award for VibroSafe

Miller UK and VP Piletic have been handed a safety award for the VibroSafe quick hitch adaptor.
The two teams attended this year’s Platworx exhibition, where they drew substantial interest to the Miller stand. VibroSafe was developed in response to problems highlighted by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) with regard to single pin connections to quick hitches.
Bill Gorton, director of Piletec, said: “VP rarely get involved in activity unless they can be market leader, and for us it was clear Miller are the market leader in quick couplers, so it was an obvious match to team up with Miller.
“Our team worked closely with Gary Miller, technical director, and Howard Reay, head of research and development, to find a solution that industry demanded.”
The advantages of Vibrosafe are that it is pre-assembled, eliminating the need for pins or bolts to be fitted or removed, which minimises human intervention.
