Pranksters have been blamed for two different warning signs on a road in the Scottish Borders.
People who drive down St Andrew Street in Galashiels are greeted with two signs, one of which displays a 30mph limit, while the second claims that the road is a 20mph zone, reports BBC South Scotland.
Speaking to the news provider, a spokesman for Scottish Borders Council said: "It appears as if one of the road signs has been turned round so it is facing the wrong way.
"We don't know who did this but arrangements are being made to fix it as soon as possible."
The spokesman also explained that the nearby St John Street has a 30mph limit, while St Andrew Street has a 20mph restriction enforced.
A report for This Is Bath recently revealed that locals in the town are calling for more safety signage to be put up on a local bus lane.
