RoSPA conference focuses on child safety

The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents' (RoSPA) has announced its new Child Safety Conference.

Child Safety - Legally and Morally will gather roughly 100 professionals who work in the safety, care and education system and expose the issues affecting the prevention of accidental injuries to children up to primary school age.

It takes place today (October 9th) and will look at examples of good practice, helping to find ways how injuries can be stopped at a local level.

Jennifer Henderson, RoSPA’s home safety officer for Scotland, said: "Following the success of last year’s first Child Safety Conference, it gives me great pleasure to welcome a range of key organisations and stakeholders to tomorrow’s event."

He explained that the day will offer an excellent opportunity to share expertise and make Scotland a leader when it comes to building safer communities.

The event will be chaired by Tom Mullarkey, chief executive of RoSPA and is set to allow delegates to hear more about the Early Years Collaborative.ADNFCR-2754-ID-801647513-ADNFCR
