21st October 2011 | Warning Signs

Posted by Ben Alexander

The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents' (RoSPA) Health and Safety Forum will focus on how to address challenges relating to health and safety and warning signs.

It will aim to investigate methods of how health and safety challenges can be overcome, featuring several speakers from businesses such as Scottish Power, Cernex, Unite and Pinsent Masons.

Opening the day will be a discussion titled "A day in the life of health and safety: overcoming your operational challenges," where delegates can discuss their issues with industry specialists.

Roger Bibbings, occupational safety adviser at RoSPA, said: "This type of event is a valuable opportunity to learn from other firms' successes - as well as to find out how they coped when things went wrong."

In recent weeks, the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) Ireland Branch launched a new health and safety initiative.

Entitled Get The Best, it hopes to encourage Irish companies to resolve issues relating to safety in the workplace.ADNFCR-2754-ID-800771242-ADNFCR
