A new seminar run by the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) is looking at new methods of delivering cost-effective road safety programmes.

The event will assess the potential for new technologies, engagement methods and ways of working when it is held at Conference Aston in Birmingham on March 7th 2013.

Among the themes explored at the event will be the power of social media as a tool for spreading road safety messages, while the advantages of adopting black box technology will also be examined.

This news comes after RoSPA and the Royal Life Saving Society asked employers running inland water sites if they wanted any alterations to safety guidance.

Kevin Clinton, RoSPA’s head of road safety, said: "As road safety practitioners continue to be asked to do ‘more for less’, this seminar will be examining how effective results can still be achieved and looking at new technologies, engagement methods and ways of working. It is not to be missed."ADNFCR-2754-ID-801505258-ADNFCR
