RoSPA set for half-day manufacturing safety seminar

A seminar by the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) next month will analyse the health and safety challenges that are encountered in the manufacturing industry.

This half-day seminar will assemble health and safety experts and may cause firms to review how they install safety signage. It will take place on November 9th at the National Metalforming Centre in West Bromwich.

Roger Bibbings, RoSPA's occupational safety adviser, said: "It is important to develop new policies and procedures in manufacturing with safety and health in mind. If these things are built into an organisation’s culture at ground level, they become second nature."

It is hoped that the event will enable delegates to share their good ideas and gain new knowledge from the experiences of others, Mr Bibbings added.

In recent weeks, RoSPA announced that submissions are now being accepted for its Occupational Health and Safety Awards.ADNFCR-2754-ID-800758645-ADNFCR
