The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) in Northern Ireland and 3fivetwo have partnered up in a bid to boost health and safety.

The two organisations will provide childminders with crucial health and safety training to boost knowledge and skills, with the aim being to meet the mandatory and regulatory needs of childminders within Northern Ireland.

Colin Wallace, home safety development officer for RoSPA in Northern Ireland, said: “RoSPA’s association with 3fivetwo Training Academy presents a fantastic opportunity to deliver this vital training throughout Northern Ireland, the aim of which will be to help standardise all the training required, leading to better safety standards in homes and a reduction in the number of accidents that may occur.”

He added that the training has been “specially developed” to meet the requirements of childminders.

RoSPA’s three-hour Health and Safety Workshop will run on August 17th and cover a number of topics, including carbon monoxide awareness and fire safety.ADNFCR-2754-ID-801618355-ADNFCR
