Window safety stickers form part of a pack given out to landlords who join a nationwide accreditation scheme.

According to the Shuttle, property owners across the Wyre Forest in Worcestershire are being invited to join the Landlord Accreditation Scheme, a project that offers landlords training to help them give high standards of service.

Those who join the scheme and achieve accredited status receive window safety stickers, access to energy performance certificates, help with advertising vacant buildings and are able to use the coveted accreditation logo.

Marcus Hart, Wyre Forest District Council's cabinet member for housing and environmental services, told the newspaper that he hoped all landlords in the area would sign up to the scheme.

"Becoming a member of this scheme will give landlords a competitive advantage because it will show that you provide good quality housing that is well equipped, hygienic, safe and secure," he said.

Safety stickers are used in a variety of different projects. This month safety stickers were given out to children in Somerset that contained information on safe cycling.
