Technology company 3M is giving people the chance to attend its health and safety event at Sandown Park later this month, where it will provide details on its Safety Solutions service.
Taking place on February 28th and 29th, the event aims to offer guidance on how to select the most appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), while giving out knowledge on how to stay safe in the workplace.
Visitors can also participate in a number of seminars, which may convince them to introduce new warning signs to their work environment.
Alan McArthur from the 3M Safety Solutions division said: "These seminars will provide invaluable information and guidance on key industry issues like the importance of fit testing and PPE compliance."
Health and safety was also put under the spotlight by QBE recently, with the insurer introducing a new e-learning initiative that offers guidance to its clients.
It presents help in areas such as construction, driver safety and logistics.
