Training 2000 wins second consecutive safety award

Blackpool company Training 2000 has been handed an International Safety Award with distinction, indicating that it has maintained high standards of health and safety.

Speaking to the Blackpool Gazette, Mike Sagar, Training 2000 functional leader, health, safety and the environment, stated that he was pleased to have won the award at distinction level for the second year in a row.

“We work very hard to make sure the workplace is a safe environment for staff and learners so we are over the moon that our efforts have been recognised, We take health and safety very seriously and make sure all individuals know the regulations and protocol in place to keep safe,” Mr Sagar explained to the news provider.

He emphasised that it is “extremely important” to put a substantial amount of time and effort into maintaining standards.

The awards were organised by the British Safety Council.
