UK traffic signs under review

Safety signs across Britain's road network will be evaluated in their most substantial review in 40 years.
Transport minister Norman Baker has announced the move, which he hopes will significantly decrease the number of sign installations required among councils.
New signs will also be introduced to notify drivers of parking spaces that feature charging points for electric vehicles.
Commenting on the plans, Mr Baker said: "Sometimes the jungles of signs and tangles of white, red and yellow lines can leave people more confused than informed. This expensive clutter can also leave our roadsides looking unsightly."
Mr Baker added that he desires consistency across the country in regards to sign rules, while enabling local authorities more freedom in how they introduce the installations.
Earlier this month, a new road sign was brought to Crieff, after it was designed by a local school student.
It will be used to welcome motorists into the town.
