Uttlesford District Council is planning a safety day in order to teach locals about what they need to do in order to prevent themselves from being injured in the local area.
The Herts and Essex Observer reported that there is to be a free community road show taking place on Mountfitchet Estate on July 20th, running from noon until 16:00GMT to teach people about dangers.
Councillor Julie Redfern told the news provider: “This promises to be a lovely day out for the whole family.
“Residents will be able to get advice on how to live healthier and safer lives if they’re interested in doing so but we want everyone who comes along to have fun.”
Ms Redfern went on to say that she is grateful that numerous partner organisations have agreed to take part, adding that she hopes the event will bring all people in the community closer together.
