Watford park signs spark confusion

Signage in Oxhey Park, Watford could spark confusion among locals as it sends them the wrong direction to the town centre.
This is the opinion of one resident, who told the Watford Observer that the notice at the Lower High Street entrance points people into the park with directions that indicate the town centre is nearby.
Ross King of Cedar Road told the news provider: "If someone walked this way from the station who had not been here before they will go to West Watford thinking it is the town centre."
Mr King explained that the signs are "confusing", adding that the directions for St Albans are "just ludicrous".
Another signage error was reported recently by drivers in Waterlooville, who spotted a Welsh road sign in the area.
It reads "no road markings" in both languages and was introduced after the Westbrook Grove road was resurfaced, much to the amusement of locals.
