The Fire Industry Association (FIA) will hold a seminar as part of a workplace management event in London next month, which may persuade fire teams to install new fire safety signs.
FIA chief executive Graham Ellicott will present at the Fire Safety Order-Building on Five Years of Experience seminar in Olympia, alongside Sara Higham from the Federation of Small Businesses and Steve Turek, assistant commissioner of the London Fire Brigade.
Ron Alalouff, info4fire.com editor, will assess the effects of the legislation on building managers and enforcers, while a presentation on the correct use of escape signs will also be held.
The seminar is part of the Workplace Management event, which is held on October 11th-12th.
Earlier this month, a campaign that was established in memory of two Newtonabbey teenagers donated 300 carbon monoxide alarms to the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents.
