Text using Helvetica font is bold, clear and easy to read.

Fire exit signs or Emergency exit signs indicate the direction of the exit in the event of a fire or emergency requiring evacuation of a building. BS5499 signs are designed to meet the applicable British Standard 5499, normally relating to fire exit signs. Directioal signs are used to indicate, usually with an arrow, the direction to take or the direction in which something is located. This sign is medium sized. This EXTRA BRIGHT photoluminescent safety sign is guaranteed to perform at or better than PSPA Class C. Glow in the dark sign performance is regulated by the Photoluminescent Safety Products Association. Class C photoluminescent peformance guarantees both initial glow in the dark brighness and rate of decay of that brightness when tested to the relevent ISO 17398 specification.

This sign is designed to comply with ISO / EN 7010, the latest safety sign design standard. ISO 7010 has been adopted across Europe, and in the UK superceeds BS5499 the former design standard for health and safety signage.
